This take on the ever-popular Takis beats out the original according to many of its loyal followers. Described as less salty and more spicy by users across Reddit, the Trader Joe’s version also gets its bright orange hue from juice and spices as opposed to artificial coloring. They can be cooled down with a dip in some hummus or enjoyed on their own as a vibrant addition to a snack spread – think Super Bowl parties. They’re also gluten-free for those with allergies or sensitivities.

Blue cheese is a rather divisive food – you either love it or hate it. And in this case, Trader Joe’s patrons loved it. They praised the chips for not being overly pungent. For the second year in a row, this versatile cheese took home first place. The creamy goat cheese is soft and spreadable making it ideal for a cheeseboard next to more intense flavors. It’s also a great base for a range of recipes from dips to appetizers. A simple upscale snack includes taking split figs, filling them with a bit of the fresh Chevre and topping them with a drizzle of honey.

One of the best things about Trader Joe’s is their smaller serving sizes perfect for singles or couples who don’t want to deal with a bunch of leftovers. Somehow they even manage to bring in small produce servings like these dainty avocados. This is their fourth year topping the list.

Found in the frozen aisle, this dip is a delightful start to a dinner party or could be part of a large snack spread – are you sensing a theme here?
