Fire safety is important for everyone to learn about but especially for children who are just beginning to understand the dangers of the world and how to react. To help with teaching your little ones about being fire-safe, the U.S. Fire Administration offers two publications featuring familiar Sesame Street characters.

These two publications: The Sesame Street Fire Safety Program Color and Learn Booklet and the Sesame Street Fire Safety Program Family Guide are geared towards children ages 3-5 who will of course recognize the characters inside. They will learn about staying safe and what to do an emergency with help from Elmo, Cookie Monster, and more of the Sesame Street crew. Both booklets are available for immediate download but can be ordered to receive by mail as well. You will have to sign in or register for an account to have the items delivered. There are also guides for educators and several of the booklets also come in Spanish.
