Lent this year runs from March 5 to April 17, and for those observing by abstaining from meat on Fridays, there are plenty of delicious seafood options available. Many fast-food chains and restaurants have brought back popular Lent-friendly menu items, and some are even offering special deals to help you save money. Whether you’re craving a classic fish sandwich, shrimp tacos, or a full fish fry, we’ve gathered some of the best Lenten menu items to try this season.

Beef ‘O Brady’s: Cod filets with coleslaw and fries for $11.49.

Red Lobster: Hand-battered cod with fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies for $15.

Burger King

Burger King has two fish options – the Big Fish and the recently returned Fiery Big Fish. Each features White Alaskan Pollock in panko breading with sweet tartar sauce, lettuce, and pickles on a potato bun. The fiery version sets itself apart with a coating of triple pepper spicy glaze on the fish’s breading.
