Instead, put natural, organic ingredients on your skin and body that, over time, protect and ultimately provide the look and glow you long for!
Here are some homemade items that will give your budget a break and though they don’t perform miracles and don’t claim to, they will become a part of a beauty regimen that you can trust and truly feel good about!

Powder Foundation
Making homemade face powder is an easy process but involves adding ingredients a little at a time until you reach your perfect color!
Ingredients
Base Options:(Choose one)
- Arrowroot powder is very white so you can start light and slowly add color.
- Rice bran powder is a creamy color that doesn’t absorb moisture if you have dry skin.
- Orris root powder is also a very light cream color and makes a good base.
Color Options:
- Cocoa powder is an easy option to find and smells delicious.
- Cinnamon cassia is a better choice over ceylon which contains more oil and can cause sensitivity. Basic cinnamon is also cheaper!
- Nutmeg is the darkest of these three tones and creates a beautiful color.
Directions
- Measure 1/4 cup of base into a small container.
- Slowly add 1/4 teaspoon at a time of your color choice until you get the shade that best fits your complexion.
- For future batches write down your measurements and double or triple to make more and save time.
